When you are having
difficulty getting your females pregnant, pray to the Saint of Miracles
-- Saint Jude. The alpaca named Saint Jude is an excellent breeder,
settling most of girls after just one attempt.
Full Peruvian Saint Jude is an impressive dark fawn herdsire. He has
incredible luster, well-defined locks, excellent coverage, and lots of
density in his fleece. His flawless conformation offers a heavy bone
with strong size and stature.
Saint Jude is a MULTI-BLUE Ribbon winner. He won the BLUE Ribbon at the
2002 MaPACA Jubilee (the largest alpaca show at that time) in the Bred &
Owned Halter Class. Competing against all colors in this class, Saint
Jude was placed above the Accoyo male that won the CHAMPIONSHIP of his
class. Saint Jude also won the BLUE Ribbon in his 2004 MaPACA Jubilee
Fleece Class, as well as the BLUE Ribbon in his 2004 POABA Breeder's
Showcase Fleece Class.
The renown suri judge, Susan Tellez, believes that Saint Jude's luster,
lock and density are perfect for improving the fleece on colored suris.
She continues by complimenting Saint Jude's large bone and substantial
size as a benefit to breeding to him.
Saint Jude's first offspring will enter in the show ring in Spring,
2005. Look for us at the shows to meet Allegheny Peruvian King Coal
(true black male) and Allegheny Peruvian Hurricane (light male). Saint
Jude also has suri offspring at two large alpaca farms in the east.
Add strong color and suri genetics to your herd with Peruvian Saint
Jude, today.
